KnightHawk Engineering, Inc. (KHE) is proud to serve as a corporate sponsor of Angel Flight South Central, a nonprofit organization that coordinates free air transportation for people who need access to medical treatment and other humanitarian services. KHE contributes something especially meaningful to that mission: its company airplane, its own pilots, and the willingness to put both to work for people who need help.

For KHE, the commitment is practical and personal. When an Angel Flight mission brings a passenger from a remote community to the Houston area for medical treatment, KHE can use company aviation resources to help shorten what might otherwise be an exhausting journey by car or a difficult trip through a distant commercial airport.
Many of the passengers KHE helps transport come from communities across Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma and are traveling to the Houston medical community for specialized care. Angel Flight South Central serves a broader five-state region that also includes New Mexico and coordinates flights through a network of volunteer pilots who donate their time, aircraft, and the cost of their flights.
The organization provides free air transportation for ambulatory passengers traveling for non-emergency medical treatment, surgeries, and critical-care appointments, while also supporting humanitarian missions. Its goal is simple but powerful: distance should not prevent someone from reaching care. Private aviation can reduce travel time for patients who may already be weakened by treatment, reduce exposure to crowds for passengers with compromised immune systems, and allow access through regional airports located closer to rural communities.
“At KnightHawk, we believe you use the resources God has blessed you with to help other people,” said Cliff Knight, CEO, KnightHawk Engineering, Inc. “If our airplane and our pilots can help someone get to the medical care they need, that is a flight worth making.”
KnightHawk Engineering believes that a company should use more than its financial resources to strengthen the community. In this case, KHE is using a highly specialized corporate asset — an airplane — along with the skills and time of its pilots to directly serve people who may be facing some of the most difficult days of their lives. For KHE, these flights are not about corporate travel; they are about turning corporate capability into community service, one passenger, one mission, and one flight at a time.
“Engineering Hope. One Flight at a Time.”
