StoryFlight Labs, a public benefit corporation supporting people with speech-limiting disabilities and conditions, announced the appointment of Zoe Krislock as Chief Executive Officer. She will work with Founder and Board Chair David Betts to build the strategy, team and operating structure needed to accelerate growth and expand access to the company’s flagship products, the AI-powered text-to-speech app Talk to Me, Goose! and personalized audio storytelling platform Fable’s Adventures. Betts founded StoryFlight Labs after he was diagnosed with ALS to build products for people who have lost their voice.
Krislock currently serves as a Board Trustee of the Live Like Lou Foundation, which supports ALS families and research. Her work with the organization introduced her to the needs of the ALS community and ultimately led to her connection with Betts and StoryFlight Labs.

Krislock brings more than 25 years of experience scaling consumer, retail and hospitality businesses, from founder-led ventures to global brands. She joins StoryFlight Labs from Magnolia, the lifestyle company founded by HGTV stars Chip and Joanna Gaines, where she served as President and chaired Magnolia Table Ventures. In that role, she helped strengthen the company’s institutional framework, grow revenue, and build out its executive team and governance structure.
Before joining Magnolia, Krislock spent five years as CEO of MiniLuxe, a publicly traded wellness and beauty company, where she led the business through an initial public offering, a strategic acquisition and the launch of a proprietary self-care product line. She previously spent 14 years at Nike in leadership roles across North America, Europe and Greater China, at times overseeing business units with nearly $3 billion in combined revenue.
