Village Caregiving Opens Seven New Locations and Creates 160 Caregiving Jobs in First Half of 2026, Expanding Footprint Across 22 States

Village Caregiving (VCG), a mission-driven, privately-owned home care agency in the United States, today announced it expanded nationally in the first half of 2026 by opening seven new locations, expanding into Massachusetts and Montana for the first time, and creating 160 new caregiving jobs. The expansion reflects VCG’s continued commitment to bringing quality, reliable in-home care to seniors, veterans and families in small and mid-sized communities across the country.

The seven new offices are in Asheville, N.C.; Altoona, Pa.; Cape Cod, Mass.; Helena, Mont.; Jackson, Tenn.; Sandusky, Ohio; and Sheridan, Wyo. The growth boosted its caregiving workforce to more than 4,800 caregivers and increased its client base by nearly 16%, enabling the company to serve more than 5,800 seniors and veterans across 22 states. VCG provides essential, nonmedical services such as cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, rides to and from appointments, and companionship.

Additional Milestones in H1 2026

VCG launched a pilot program focused on delivering personalized services for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia, which impacts more than 6.5 million Americans, according to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The program follows GUIDE (Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience), a voluntary, nationwide model developed by CMS that focuses on comprehensive dementia care, including caregiver education and support and respite services. By participating in this innovative model, VCG offers choice for eligible individuals and families. More than a dozen VCG clients currently participate in the program across two states: Illinois and Kentucky.
VCG was recognized on Inc.’s 2026 Best Workplaces list for the first time, earning the distinction alongside more than 500 companies nationwide.
In Kentucky, VCG expanded its partnership with the Kentucky Purple Star Award Program to strengthen support of military youth, families and veterans across the state. The collaboration gives VCG’s eight Kentucky locations the flexibility to provide in-kind and financial donations, as well as volunteer support, where it’s needed most.
